“This review is long overdue. My boyfriend and I moved to Las Vegas a few months ago and of course Rufus broke his leg within a few hours of us moving. We first saw an emergency vet because all vets were closed, and not only did it cost a lot but they misdiagnosed him. We are so happy we found Southwest Animal Hospital, Dr. Perron is amazing. He always takes the time to explain things in detail so that we understand. My dogs also get boarded there since we do not have any family around. Both my dogs have separation anxiety and they do great. You can really tell all the staff care, we also really like the groomer.”

“My dog Wizard is a rescue with really bad anxiety. He won’t let anyone touch his paws. I tried everything to clip his nails. Calming chews, multiple groomers and I even bought a muzzle yet still I was unable to control him so that I could clip them. I had no choice but to bring him to a vet. I thought he was going to have to be sedated but they recommended trying a muzzle to avoid sedation. We were able to get the muzzle on and they took him to the back and when he came back out I was very surprised they managed to clip them! I found out that day that they do grooming so Wizard is scheduled for a haircut next week. Thank you Southwest animal hospital!!”

“I’ve been taking my dogs here since they were puppies. Foxy is 15yrs old now. I took her on Monday to have her teeth cleaned and extractions if needed. I was concerned to have this done bc of her age and her having to go under anesthesia, but Dr. Perron, Danielle, & the staff made me feel comfortable. Surprisingly, she had no extractions but when they did her bloodwork prior (to make sure she was cleared to undergo anesthesia) to surgery Dr Perron did notice she has kidney disease and recommended some prescription kidney health food. Danielle also called me yesterday to check up on Foxy to make sure she’s doing well and eating and drinking. Very reasonable prices and loving and caring staff. Thank you, 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙬𝙚𝙨𝙩 Animal Hospital for years of caring for my babies.”
